Role: Machine Learning Engineer; Location: HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland; Full-time (100%) employment

The person will report directly to the Head of R&D.

This is an applied research role – your models will be deployed to our production systems and objectively tested in clinical trials with hundreds of subjects. We have deep and rich datasets, which your passion for statistics and machine learning has the power to unlock.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience building machine learning models in an academic or industrial setting. You should have a Ph.D. in computer science.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regression and deep learning models, convolutional neural and/or adversarial neural network models.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in computer science with a background both in machine learning and software development.
  • Hands-on experience building machine learning models.
  • Strong algorithm design and programming skills in Python.
  • Knowledge of Pandas, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, NumPy, and TensorFlow.
  • Practical experience in running machine learning methods on cloud-hosted GPUs.
  • Proven experience solving interesting and meaningful real-world problems using principled techniques and practices.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with data (cleaning, visualization, and modeling) is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Machine Learning.
  • Knowledge of no SQL databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the medical need, identify the key challenges, formulate the machine learning problem and provide/prototype solutions.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with other team members on advanced solutions for estimating blood pressure.
  • Document the technical details of your work.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 60,000.00€ - 130,000.00€ per year
